The first e-SENS conference "Making e-Services a Reality in Europe" took place on 6-7 November 2014 in Public Research Centre Henri Tudor, Luxembourg. It gathered almost 150 attendees representing national governments, public administration, IT business and European Commission
The first day of the conference focused on project's history, vision, overview of technical solutions and long-term sustainability. The second day of the conference was divided into two thematic sessions. The first session was devoted to the technical architecture of the project, focusing on building blocks and electronic communication. The second session presented the political context of the developed solutions, providing detailed information on European regulations and interoperable digital services.
Speakers representing e-SENS work packages as well as ministries of partnering countries and European Comission explained the important role of e-SENS in developing e-services in EU and putting digital e-government solutions into practice.
