e-Procurement and e-Invoicing in the EU

Modernising public administration – it is a goal of recent EU activities. A conference on the role of e-Procurement and e-Invoicing will take place in Brussels this week.

The European Commission is organising a conference on the contribution of e-procurement and e-invoicing in the context of the modernisation of public administration. Both of these topics are key tools contributing to the rationalisation of public expenditure and making the public administration more efficient. They are also important components of OpenPEPPOL and the e-SENS project.
The conference programme will include presentations from policy makers as well as contracting authorities and companies that are already using e-procurement and e-invoicing. It will be held on the 18th of September, 2013 in the Borschette Congress Center, Brussels.
