The e-SENS project was presented on the 27th of April 2013 during the International Conference on e-Business and e-Government held in Izmir, Turkey. Cagatay Karabat (TUBITAK BILGEM, TURKEY) delivered a presentation entitled: “The Vision for Future Basic Cross Sector Services of European Countries” . He gave an overview of the common goals of the Large Scale Pilot projects, focusing on e-SENS. The conference was focused on presentations addressing key segments of e-Business and e-Government solutions as well as exchange of experiences, best practices and case studies.

The "International Conference on e-Business and e-Government" (ICEBEG) provides a framework for scholars and practitioners on all aspects of applying internet and related technologies in private and public sector organizations. The aim of the conference was to bring together an interdisciplinary audience of ICT, information systems, knowledge management, e-business, e-commerce, e-government, e-governance professionals and researchers in order to address some of the issues and challenges facing the public and private sector today. ICEBEG fosters and promotes the discovery and dissemination of high quality research in the fields noted above.
