Meet e−SENS at CeBIT 2016

Learn how IT makes public services interoperable

From 14th to 18th March 2016, the e−SENS project will be on show at CeBIT in Hanover. Jointly with the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), eIDAS and e−CODEX, the project will be presented in the Public Sector Park (Hall 7, stand B39), which showcases the vital role of IT in modernising public administration. The spotlight of this year´s performance will be on interoperability, with tangible examples of how this is already facilitated in various policy domains.

CeBIT is the largest and best−known IT event held every year in Hanover, Germany. Visitors from business and government will find all the information, inspiration and innovations they need at CeBIT 2016. This leading global showcase will provide a complete overview of the opportunities and challenges associated with digitisation.

About the e−SENS stand

The e−SENS project will mark its presence at CeBIT 2016 together with other key initiatives for ensuring European interoperability. With interesting presentations and gimmicks, visitors will be able to play and learn how digital public solutions communicate across borders.

  • Talk to experts from the projects and the European Commission and discuss how to provide interoperable digital services.
  • Learn about mature open source solutions available to be re−used in both administration and business.
  • Find out what standards and specifications need to be taken into account when developing digital cross−border services.
  • See how the project supports the implementation of key European directives in various policy areas.
